Things you should know
You must be a Telecom home phone and calling customer to benefit from our Anytime plans. You can join Telecom or switch your calling to Telecom online.
- Direct dial national calls from your home phone are charged minute plus minute. A one minute minimum charge applies per call
- Direct dial international calls from your home phone are charged for the first minute then per second. A one minute minimum charge applies per call
- Some exclusions apply to our Anytime calling rates. Please also read important information
* Calls must be from a Telecom home phone to New Zealand and/or Australian landlines or any Telecom mobile, in NZ when you talk for up to 2 hours. The per minute rate applies after 2 hours.
With number portability you can take your number with you when you change mobile providers. What this means is that you can no longer rely on a person's mobile phone prefix (eg 027, 029, 021 etc) to know what network this phone number uses.
You can check if the mobile number you're calling is on the Telecom network FREE. Simply text the mobile number you're checking to 300 and you'll receive a text back confirming if the number is on the Telecom network.
