Set up Xtra Mail account recovery options

Learn how to change your password and set up account recovery options in Webmail.

Set up Xtra Mail account recovery options

  1. Sign in to Xtra Mail
  2. Select the My account icon in the top right corner. It's a circle with either a picture or initials in it.
  3. Select Change password and manage security from the drop-down menu.

  1. Go to the Password & Security tab.
  2. Select Set up on the recovery option you want to create.
  3. Enter your Xtra Mail password and select Confirm.
  4. Enter your recovery email address or mobile number and select Next.
  5. A six digit code will be sent to your recovery email address or mobile number. Enter the six digit code and select Next.

To make changes to your account recovery options, follow the steps above. We recommend you set up all account recovery options so you don't get locked out of your account.

Change your Xtra Mail password

  1. You can change your password in Xtra Mail.
  2. Select the My account icon in the top right corner. It's a circle with either a picture or initials in it.
  3. Select Change password and manage security from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select Manage next to Password & Security
  5. Select Change on the Your password option.
  6. Enter your current password, and then enter your new password.
  7. Select Confirm.

A green confirmation message will appear, and you'll be required to sign back into your Xtra Mail with your new password.
